1. What we collect
When you make a booking, we collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup details, and the itinerary you build (the stops you choose, your date and party size). We do not require you to create an account; your email is your identity for the booking.
2. Why we collect it
We use this information solely to fulfil your booking: to take payment, to confirm your trip, to pass your itinerary and pickup details to the local operator carrying out the journey, and to contact you if anything about the trip needs to change. We do not send marketing emails unless you separately opt in, and we do not sell your data.
3. Who we share it with
We share the minimum information needed with the following processors to run the service:
- Stripe, to take payment for your booking.
- Supabase, which hosts our database.
- Resend, to send booking confirmation and operator emails.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
We also share your itinerary, pickup details and contact number with the licensed local operator carrying out your trip, so the driver can find you and follow your plan.
4. How long we keep it
Placeholder: we intend to keep booking records for a limited period after your trip for accounting and dispute purposes, then delete or anonymise them. The exact retention period is still to be confirmed by the founder before launch.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to object to or restrict how we use it, subject to our own legal and accounting obligations. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we have handled your data incorrectly.
